Linking to an Edit Page
After you have created an edit page ("Creating a Basic Edit Page"), you need to link to it from the layout of the parent page. This article describes the two linking options and how to insert the link.
Standard Link Using the standard method you can add a text link or an image link to the edit page. - Click the Edit Layout link on the parent page to edit the layout.
- Inside the layout, select with your mouse the text you want to make a link or the image you want to make a link
- Click the Dynamic Link toolbar Icon. This will open the dynamic link window. From this window you can select any of your dynamic pages, including the Edit Page to link to:
Â
- Click OK to insert the link.
Click Save Changes to save the layout. Each record shown on the published page, will now include a link to the Edit Page.
Embedded Drill Down Page An embedded drill down page is either an edit page or display page that is embedded within another page. When embedding a page you can set the border, size, scroll and margin properties of the embedded page. To learn how to embed an edit page see our KB Article "Embedded Drill Down Pages and Edit Forms"

"The autoresponder provides our company with the functionality of a high-end Website without the high-end expense. We can quickly create templates that personalize the email with the user's name and other submitted variables without any database programming. In fact, Logiforms provides the database -- all we have to do is download the data, which we can do at our convenience."
